James refused to look back even though his body yearned to see her face again.
He knew at this point that she, Eleanor was someone special to him like she was his lover. Eleanor. That name brought back flashes of emotions, mostly wonderful warm memorises. That's when he understood the relationship... But he could not yet realise why his mind blocked the visions that came with the feelings. Or why his heart dropped when he thinking about going back to her side.
He blinked and stopped just in time to duck as a unknown figure fell over his head.
James looked back as he stood back up, locking eyes with the fallen injured person.
"Need help?" James held out a hand to the shaken guy.
"No," He frowned at James and then spat on the ground. "I don't need help from you... Or from anyone."
James watched as he got up with one hand covering the massive bleeding wound, it wasn't a pretty sight.
"What happened?" He asked without thinking as he observed the guy's uniform.
The man snorted in disgust. "Ha. Wouldn't you like to know," He waved his finger in his face as if telling him off. "Well I'm not telling you but know this. It's never a good idea to mess with Demons."
James laughed. "Demons?? Dude. Are you high?"
The man frowned but then laughed along with him too. "Maybe," He chuckled. "My name is Vince... Yours?"
James grinned back. "I'm Michael, pleased to meet you."
Vince held out his hand and James took it. The smiled friendly and shook.
Vince then cleared his voice and gazed backwards. "I, er better get going... Things to do." James nodded. "Yeah, same here... See you later, hopefully."
Vince nodded back. "Yeah... Maybe."

At the exact time, both 'Vince' and 'Michael' turned their backs on each other and started walking. Only till James had noticed something fishy about Vince did he look back to ask him how - But he had already gone.
